The ebook reader war is getting hotter than ever with the announcement of a new ebook reader by brick and mortar Barnes & Noble.

According to early rumors, the device will be in color, setting it far apart from the e-ink gray display of the Kindle. It will also be about the size of a paperback, feature a touchscreen (with no QWERTY keyboard) and hold numerous books which you can buy from the Barnes & Noble ebook store.

How much? Price has yet to be determined and reps from Barnes & Noble are saying that the new electronic reader could be available as early as next month.
